Abu Simbel Profanation
Abu Simbel, Profanation is a video game developed and distributed by Dinamic Software in 1985 for the Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, and MSX platforms.
The successor, in order, to Saimazoom and Babaliba, it is the last part of this trilogy. It would be the best known and most successful title in the series, coinciding with Dinamic's big sales takeoff. For the promotion, Dinamic organized a contest in which it would award 50,000 pesetas to the first person to finish the game.
The protagonist, Johny Jones, has been transformed by the curse of Abu Simbel into a strange circular creature that retains only his enormous nose from his former appearance. To free himself from the curse, he must enter the tomb of Abu Simbel in Egypt and, after overcoming a series of obstacles, regain his usual physical appearance.
